Some family secrets are kept smothered under wraps. Others are written about as a catharsis, with the need to be shared in the hopes of helping others cope and gain strength after having their lives upended. As was the case with author Michael Zimmerman. In his published memoir, Suburban Bigamy: Six Miles Between Truth and Deceit, he tells of the double life his father led just six miles away from where Michael grew up and lived. A devastating secret he only discovered as an adult, after his father fell ill.

Join us as Mr. Zimmerman speaks not only about his story, but his whole process of writing this riveting memoir. Based on his own experiences, be privy to the "secrets" he offers on the best ways to tackle a writing form that is often a challenging, highly emotional journey. Yet ultimately a rewarding one.
