Join us as Ms. Weiss appears in person, pulling back the curtain to reveal the thrills and challenges that come with being a theater and dance critic. She will also be treating us to a sneak preview of a few choice upcoming productions and even give us a peek at her career as a professional dancer before she leapt over the footlights and into the audience to become one of the keenest observers of the theater and dance world. Let’s welcome with a “Standing O” one who stands shoulder to shoulder among Chicago’s pantheon of journalistic greats.

Admission is FREE for IWOC Members. (Members do not need to register.) Non-members pay $10 with online preregistration/payment or $15 at the door.

Networking, with snacks and beverages, begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m.

IWOC monthly meetings are held in Room 4G at the Gratz Center, 126 E. Chestnut Street, adjacent to the historic Fourth Presbyterian Church (see map, below).
