Monthly Meeting | Communication Challenges in a Disinformation World

Due to Omicron, we will be holding our January meeting on Zoom. Hopefully, we will resume in-person meetings in February.

Join veteran public relations practitioner John Lyday, APR, Fellow PRSA, as he takes us on a fast-paced stroll down the past five years and discuss how communications and writing have been impacted. John will use real-life examples of good and bad communication to illustrate how to successfully navigate through this brave new world (with sincere apologies to Aldous Huxley). He also will discuss how PR professionals and independent writers can collaborate on projects to mutual advantage.

John has been in public relations for more than 40 years and has directed communications for three large Illinois school districts, a Fortune 500 company, a regional community bank, a statewide professional association and a county government.
