AWJ-Chicago and ASJA will co-sponsor this panel discussion featuring Kate Silver, freelance journalist/writer; Kelly James-Enger, freelance writer/author (Six-Figure Freelancing: The Writer's Guide to Making More Money) and blogger; and Megy Karydes, writer, marketer, media consultant. Veteran freelancer Judith Nemes (USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago Business) will moderate.

Freelancing tips from the trenches. featuring freelancers who will share their successes and setbacks, plus offer advice on how to break into a wide variety of writing markets beyond mainstream and trade journalism.
